Clarification of Values

Led by our Women’s Community School graduates, this four-month program helps connect the FISH Hospitality Pantries volunteer experience with our foundational hospitality values: welcome, inclusiveness, diversity, and non-judgmental acceptance.

During four Clarification of Values evening sessions, clergy, lay
leaders, and FISH Pantries supporters from a variety of backgrounds and cultures focus on our shared values, how they bring us together, and how we live them out in our interactions with our guests. Participants discuss how volunteering develops our deeper understanding of poverty and hunger. •
